Codes and Conventions of a magazine front cover:

-Masthead- the masthead is bold. It creates a brand
-Main image- the main image normally gives you direct address and it draws the reader in.
-Coverlines-this reveals an article thats inside the magazine
Barcode- this will have the issue number on
-Slogan- This can reveal the type of genra the magazine is. It is a posting statement.
Price- the proce tells you how much the magazine is and it will aslo have the date of when the magazine comes out.
-Bolod colours- The colours will relate to the genre and the colours will aslo be eye catching for the readers, this will draw them in.
-Website- the website will be posted on the magazine and this is for any additional information the reader wants to know or find out.
-Graphic features- the graphic featurs make things stand out and make things fun.
-Buzz Words- the buss words make things more exciting, for example 'EXCLUSIVE', 'ALSO'.
-Ancharge text- the ancharage texts pinns the meaning onto the image. It ios usually on the biggest cover line.

Codes and conventions of a magazine contents page:
-Date and Title-  This is udes aa 'this week' . the title is the same as the masthead on the front cover of the magazine,
-Main image- there is normally one image and the main image is the main story.
-Different images- there is different images to represnt different storys within the magazine.
-Page number-  the page numbers are usually in a different colour and they represent what is on what page.
-Editors letter
-Colour scheme- the colour scheme represnts what the genre of the magaizne is and the colour scheme will run throughout the magazine
Font- the font also represents what type of genre the magazine is and the fontd will murge in together so they all look the same
Advertisment- subscription details, this is when the readers can suscribe to the magazine to getr sent home every month
